The goals that we have planned for 2016 are challenging yet very possible to achieve with the support of the OTON gaming community and developers. We have a great team with years of experience and the passion to make OTON the most revolutionary game console of this generation. The feedback for the OTON dev will help us craft the retail unit and design for our new game engine…Here are three important goals for 2016:
-Roll out the basic OTON development X unit with basic auto function and manual level creation. The system will use an open source 2D engine for game creation and demonstration purposes. As we correct issues, we will roll out new game assets, artificial intelligence, themes, game engine, and functional applications. This stage is important; it will help us get real-time feedback concerning what needs to be improved and what’s scalable.
-After we complete basic system fixes, updates, and feedback reports, we plan to add new engine modules in the sixth month after release to developers, early adopters, and media. We will constantly roll out new sprite assets each month.
-We will continue to add new functions, assets, and A.I to this stage. First additional features, such as a store or online gaming and streaming functions, could be added. Second, this stage will tell us if we’re ready to turn our focus to retail development and software. Last, we hope to employ some basic 3D aspects and additional engines once the system has passed the entire required test from our staff and receive feedback from the community.
We think we can accomplish something special with these three goals. The system will evolve as we work toward a final retail unit. We need your help and passion to build an innovative community of gamers and developers.
